Slow Leak Causes Mold
This kitchen sink had a slow leak and the owners were not aware of it until they noticed their wood floor cupping. The insurance agent of the insured called us to come out and after investigating the damage it was clear that there was a slow leak under the sink caused the floor cupping as well as a large mold infestation on the drywall under the sink. Our recommendation was to remove the affected wood flooring and cut the drywall to properly remediate the damage. our crew carefully removed the cabinets and was able to save the tile countertop and backsplash to save costs.
