Location: Pacific Palisades, CA
Customer: Marjorie Kay

Cause: Mrs. Kay returned home from a trip to find standing water in her residence. Wood floors were affected and house had mildew odors present.

Work Performed: Our SERVPRO technician arrived with in 1 hour and began extracting water in the home and performed emergency services. The technicians moved client contents and prepared two drying zones. Plastic barriers are placed to promote quick and efficient drying for structures. Wood floor was removed where damaged and removed from structure. Air movers and dehumidifiers were used for 3 days for drying of structure and flooring. SERVPRO provided monitoring of drying progress with infrared camera moisture detection. Upon completion an antimicrobial agent is applied.

Result: Flooring limited damage 40% saved. Customer allowed to stay at residence during drying process. Barriers used to separate working/ drying areas. Limited wall and baseboard damage due to quick response.
