When an emergency happens, most people act immediately to try and minimize the amount of damage, which is understandable. • Remove valuable documents, books, and electronics to a dry space

• DO NOT use a regular household vacuum to try and suck up water

Although these tips can help alleviate initial problems, future damage can happen if you only stick to temporary fixes.
